The work consisted of dewatering and removal of approximately 500,000 CY of sediment and debris, temporary flow diversion facilities, haul and off-site disposal, construction of new permanent improvements at the dam site including new flow control valves, intake tower improvements, pedestrian catwalk and erosion control measures.

The work consisted of the installation of two (2) new knife gate valves with valve actuators and

construction of a concrete stabilization structure to replace the existing slide gate valves and

infrastructure on the Upper Tansil Dam in Carlsbad, NM.

Installation of 62,000 LF of 4, 6 and 8-inch waterline, steel casing installed by open-cut and trench-less methods, hydrants, gate valves, automatic meter reading system, replacement of existing meters and related appurtenances along with multiple roadway crossings by trench-less methods. The project will also include the construction of a new well, installation of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, new computers, billing software and associated staff training on software and AMR system.

Work consisted of repairing a leak in the hot water heat exchanger located inside of Primary Anaerobic Digester No. 1 at the Jacob Hands Wastewater Treatment Facility (JHWWTF). Repair work involves taking the digester off line and draining, purging methane gas from the head space, removing gas equipment from the top of the gas dome cover plate, removing the existing 7-foot diameter x 21-foot high stainless-steel draft tube/heat exchanger assembly with a crane, replacing it with a new Owner-furnished assembly, and returning the digester to service. Additional work included removing sludge in digester, cleaning digester walls of old coating, repairing the old draft tube for future use, and installing a new flame arrestor to bring the digester up to code.

Furnish and install a power distribution panels (PDP), well buildings, foundations, doors, AC units, yard piping, motorized operator/valve assembly, appurtenances and all electrical power to the wells. Furnish and install Soft Start and motorized operators and finish and install 8- and 12-inch well collector mains and appurtenances from the well pump to the existing well collector main. Install blow off lines, retention ponds and spillways, chain link fences, wrought iron fences, rock wall fences and trench safety.

Project consisted of demo of old lift station, installing de-watering wells, excavation of soil, installation of pre-cast manhole with water grate, installation of two 12" pumps, check vault, and cleaning of discharge line. Also included was the removal of sediment in water apron and installation of erosion control.

This project consisted of construction of a new vacuum sewer collection system including approximately 17,000 LF of 3-inch, 4-inch, 6-inch, and 10-inch vacuum sewer pipe. The project will also include the installation of steel casing by trench-less methods, isolation valves, valve pits, and site improvements including roadway asphalt removal and replacement.

Work included the installation of a new 250,00-gallon steel water storage tank, a concrete slab, a 10-inch ductile iron water line, a chlorine line and injector, and 10-inch valves, fittings and other related appurtenances.

Rehabilitation of two separate lift stations included installing permanent bypass manholes with piping, removing existing pumps, coating existing manholes, installing new pumps, apparatuses, and control panels, and upgrading the sites with security fences. Project complexities included depths up to 25ft. High ground water at 4ft depth. There were rocky soil layers that inhibited de-watering wells along with wet winter

Work included for this project is demolition of existing water storage tank, chlorine building, pump station, pump station electrical building, and perimeter rock wall and fence. Construction included the building of pre-stressed ground storage tank, pump station, electrical and chlorine injection building, along with a rock wall perimeter and various other landscaping and site improvements.

The work on this project consisted of raw and finished water piping in the vicinity of the treatment facility; 1-MGD Reverse Osmosis treatment facility with chemical storage and feed systems, sample/control room, maintenance garage and restroom; HVAC Plumbing and electrical systems; approximately 5.6 acre lined evaporation pond; finished water booster station and clear well; Site work including grading, storm water conveyance, and fencing; and storm water pollution prevention plan.

Work on this project included a new headworks structure with screening equipment, a pre-engineered metal building for the aeration blowers and air piping, a 65' x 65' concrete  aeration basin with 18' tall walls for the bubbler system, a 26 acre and 13 acre center pivot irrigation system, a lined storage lagoon pond, and modifications to the existing plant. The project had to be built in a very tight timeframe. The project was staffed with up to 28 men at one time plus the use of several subcontractors. Concrete crews made several early morning pours starting at 2am or 3am and were able to form, tie, & pour nearly 800 cubic yards of concrete in less than 4 months. Despite using a new complex forming system to construct the 18’ high basin walls, the crew was able to beat production estimates and complete the project ahead of schedule. Minor site work and start-up activities are expected to be completed this month.
